Supporting my wellbeing

Every Mind Matters is NHS England's platform to help you manage and maintain your mental health. The website offers a variety of free tools, apps and advice to help you. By answering 5 quick questions you can also get your own Mind Plan offering top tips tailored to your needs.

Getting Active and staying active can have a real positive impact on your mental wellbeing, even as little as 10 minutes brisk walking can make a difference. Our Activity and COVID section provides ideas for getting active inside and outside of the home. Please ensure you comply with all Government restrictions and guidance in relation exercise outside of your home.

Learning new skills or refreshing old ones can help to focus your mind and provide some structure to your day. Leicestershire County Council offer a number of adult education courses through their Go Learn programme. Courses range from employability skills, languages and arts & craft activities. You may also be able to get financial support to help with the cost of a course.

Get Creative

Like learning, getting creative can help to focus your mind on something different. There are lots of different ways to do this - colouring books, painting, going for a photo walk using your mobile, dancing, knitting, sewing, singing and many more.
