Return to Rounders Mixed Tournament

Join in the fun at Leicester University, Stoughton Drive Playing Fields, Leicester, on Sunday 8th September.

Workplaces, sports teams, community groups and families are invited to a mixed fun Rounders tournament later this summer! The event, which is being co-ordinated by Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport is open to players of all abilities, especially those 'Returning to Rounders' from their schooldays.

The tournament is taking place at the Leicester University Stoughton Road Site in Oadby on Sunday 8th September from 10am to 1.30pm. Supported by the Leicestershire Rounders League, Rounders England, Oadby and Wigston Borough Council and Blaby District Council, the event aims to provide a fun and enjoyable tournament and the chance for people to simply get together and play.

Judith Handley from Rounders England said, "The event is open to adult participants aged 14+ and no experience is necessary. We hope the sun will shine and lots of groups of people from different workplaces, teams from other sports and community groups will come and enjoy playing rounders in Oadby. Some players may even be inspired to play in the local league!"

Those wishing to attend the event can enter a team for just £20 (10 players per team). The event will start at 10am sharp.
